End your Indian journey with a visit to one of the seven wonders of the world fabled Taj Mahal. Nepal is one of the most scenic countries in the world. It boasts eight of the 8000m mountain peaks (there are a total of fourteen 8000m peaks in the world) including Mt. Everest the highest peak in the world. Visit Kathmandu the capital of Nepal, explore amazing palaces and temples, indulge in the intricate wood carving in them, and enjoy mesmerizing mountain views in Pokhara.
Day 01 – Arrive Delhi
Day 02 – Full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi visiting Jama Masjid and cycle rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi. Drive pass Luyten’s Delhi seeing the colonial presence in the capital. Visit Qutab Minar and Humayun Tomb.
Day 03 – Morning drive to Jaipur. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jaipur city visiting City Palace and Jantar Mantar (astronomical observatory).
Day 04 – Morning excursion to Amber Fort with an option to take an elephant ride stopping by en route at Hawa Mahal
Day 05 – Early morning drive to Agra visiting the deserted capital of Fatehpur Sikri. In Agra visit Mehtab Bagh to see sunset on the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna River.
Day 06 – Early morning, visit the Taj Mahal to see the monument changing it’s mood with changing lights of the rising sun. Later in the morning visit Agra Fort. Afternoon drive to Delhi.
Day 07 – Fly to Kathmandu.
Day 08 – Full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley visiting Basantapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and Swayambhunath Stupa.
Day 09 – Morning visit Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa. Afternoon excursion to Bhaktapur Darbar Square
Day 10 – Early morning drive to Pokhara. Afternoon take a boat ride on Phewa Tal (Lake).
Day 11 – Early morning drive to Sarangkot to see sunrise on the mountains. Later in the morning sightseeing tour of Pokhara city visiting Mahendra Gufa (Cave), Davis Falls and Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave.

Day 02 – Delhi
Proceed on a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Capital of India where history has seamlessly given space to modernity without losing its presence. One of the largest cities in the world, it is dotted with imposing monuments of Hindu, Mughal and Colonial era.
Visit Jama Masjid the largest mosque of India which can accommodate 25000 people at a time for offering prayer. Qutab Minar one of the tallest break minarets in the world, Humayun Tomb considered to be one of the forerunners of the Taj Mahal. Drive pass India Gate and other government buildings stopping by President House to witness Indo-Saracenic architectures. A visit to Raj Ghat (Mahatma Gandhi Memorial) will be a part of the sightseeing.
Apart from visiting historic buildings one gets to take cycle rickshaw ride through the narrow alleyways of Chandni Chowk is an experience by itself. Once was a flamboyant bazaar (market place) for the novels of the Mughal era, it today is the largest wholesale market of Asia.

Day 03 – Delhi to Jaipur
Morning, depart Delhi by surface for Jaipur (264 Km/ 06 Hrs. approx.). Arrive Jaipur and check in at hotel.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jaipur city visiting City Palace – a delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, The City Palace official residence of the present royal family covers a series of courtyards, gardens, and residential buildings, etc. A part of this Palace has now been converted to a museum housing an elaborate collection of Armoury, Textiles, and Artifacts. Jantar Mantar - this 17th-century astronomical observatory is an excellent example of the marvelous precision wherein each construction has a specific purpose to measure the position of stars, altitudes, and calculating eclipses, etc. and some of them still work quite accurately.

Day 04 – Jaipur
Morning, proceed on an excursion to Amber Fort stopping by en route at Hawa Mahal. Built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap a five-story façade in red sandstone with 953 small windows, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) is part of the City Palace. It was built with the intention to allow ladies in the palace to observe everyday life on the street below without being seen. However, today Hawa Mahal has become the emblem of Jaipur.
Amber Fort lies in the outskirts of Jaipur city. Erstwhile capital of Kachhawaha Rajput rulers of Jaipur, the Amber Fort guarded one of the important defiles against invading enemies. Wander around the fort exploring extravagant palaces that once witnessed the opulence and magnificence of Royal Rajasthani lifestyle. The mirror palace, winter palace, and summer palace, etc. are some of the highlights of the visit to this fort. You will climb atop the fort’s ramparts on an elephant’s back.

Day 05 – Jaipur to Agra
Depart Jaipur by surface for Agra (232 Km/ 06 Hrs. approx.) stopping by en route to visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri - just 44 km away from Agra lies Fatehpur Sikri, which briefly served as the capital Mughal empire during the reign of emperor Akbar. It is believed that city was quickly abandoned due to the scarcity of potable water. Palaces, meeting halls, and courtyards inside the complex are in a remarkable state of preservation. There is an important pilgrimage for Muslims in the complex “Holy shrine of Saint Salim Chisti”. Also, Emperor Akbar built a very imposing gate “Buland Darwaza” here to commemorate his victory over Gujarat.
Arrive, Agra and drive straight to the Mehtab Bagh across the Yamuna River to view the Taj Mahal changing its colour with the fading light of the setting sun.

Day 06 – Agra to Delhi
Early morning, visit the Taj Mahal to see the monument changing it’s mood with changing lights of the rising sun. This ultimate tribute of love built by a grieving emperor for his wife is actually flawless to its conception and execution. It is aptly said that the beauty of the Taj Mahal has to be experienced, it cannot be described in words.
Later in the morning visit Agra Fort from where four of the mighty Mughal rulers controlled their vast empire. Built by successive emperors, the fort consists of residential palaces, courts, social areas, and private mosques representing the excellence of Mughal architecture. Fort also is a vantage point to view the Taj Mahal from a distance.
Afternoon depart Agra by surface for Delhi (200 Km/ 04 Hrs. approx.). Arrive Delhi and check in at hotel.

Day 07 – Delhi to Kathmandu
Morning transfer to airport to board the flight for Kathmandu. Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to hotel with rest of the day at leisure or free for optional activities.

Day 08 – Kathmandu
Morning visit the Durbar Square – Durbar square in Basantapur as it is known by its old name lies in the heart of old city of Kathmandu. Successive rulers and dynasties have contributed to making the square look what it is today. It is a living museum where history, spirituality, and architecture converge, offering an unforgettable experience to visitors. Massive congregation of 50 temples, courtyards, and palaces reflects the artistic brilliance of the place. Important ceremonies, including the coronation of the Nepali monarch, were held here. Swayambhunath – Revered equally by both Buddhists and Hindus with equal respect, Swayambhunath is believed to be built 2500 years ago. Located on a hill top it commands a bird’s eye view of the Kathmandu city.
Afternoon proceed on an excursion to Patan – “Open art gallery of Nepal” as it is often referred, Patan truly lives to its name Lalitpur (City of Art). Durbar Square here houses a complex of the residence of erstwhile Royal family of Patan apart from plethora of temples that radiates the artistic excellence of the people of Patan. Patan is the place to observe the excellent works of ancient Newari religious art and architecture.

Day 09 – Kathmandu
Morning visit Pashupatinath – built in a signature Nepali architecture this pagoda-style temple located on the bank of the Bagmati River is one of the four most important religious sites in Asia for Shiva devotees. Though the temple was built during the 5th century, successive Malla Kings have their contributions to renovating and beautifying the temple in their reign. One can see exquisitely carved wooden panels, a gold-plated roof, and four silver doors here. Boudhanath – considered one of the oldest Buddhist stupas in the world, it is the center of Tibetan culture in Nepal. The colossal 36-meter-tall Boudhanath is the largest stupa in South Asia.
Afternoon excursion to Bhaktapur Darbar Square. The erstwhile capital of the Malla dynasty Durbar Square of Bhaktapur or Bhatgaon as it was called has some of the most charming architectural masterpieces of medieval Nepal. Though the Palace of Fifty-five Windows and Golden Gate at the entrance are the highlights of the Bhaktapur visit, the status of kings of stone monoliths, the Lion Gate, and the art gallery housing ancient paintings belonging to the Hindu and Buddhist traditions of various periods are some of the other things which are of equal interest here.

Day 10 – Kathmandu to Pokhara
Morning depart Kathmandu by surface for Pokhara (200 Km/ 07 Hrs. approx.). Arrive Pokhara and check in at the hotel.
Pokhara - situated on the lap of the mountain is a charming town surrounded by snow-capped mountains, and crystal-clear lakes and it is blessed with pleasant weather round the year. View of Machapurchre Himal or Mt. Fishtail and Annapurna range is omnipresent in Pokhara which makes the stay here more enjoyable.
Afternoon boat ride on Phewa Tal (Lake), the largest lake in Pokhara and the second largest in Nepal. The main attraction of the boat ride is the mirror reflection of Mt. Fishtails on the serene water of the lake, which is a mesmerizing experience. Also, visit the pagoda-style temple in the middle of the lake dedicated to Barahi (Water Goddess). Phewa Tal boasts of over 21 species of fish, 6 species of amphibians, 14 reptile species, 34 species of mammals, and over 104 species of birds.

Day 11 – Pokhara
Early morning drive to Sarangkot (15 Km) to see sunrise on the mountains. A sunrise excursion to Sarangkot, near Pokhara, offers a mesmerizing start to your day. Perched at 1,600 meters, it provides panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. As dawn breaks, the peaks glow golden, creating an unforgettable spectacle. Ideal for photography and nature lovers, this serene spot also overlooks the tranquil Phewa Lake and Pokhara Valley. Arrive early to enjoy the magical transformation of the Himalayan skyline.

Later in the morning visit Mahedra Gufa (Cave) which is located on the outskirts of the town. Named after the late King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev, this cave has a very rich rock formation, and the stones inside the cave glitter when a beam of light is directed toward them. Also, visit Davis Falls a very unique waterfall where the water goes gushing into a deep gorge – so deep is the gorge that it appears that it does not have an end. The falls has taken the lives of many people and it is believed that one such victim was a western tourist David – thus it is named after him as David’s Fall. As locals could not pronounce this name properly hence it has now become Davis Fall. Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave - a sacred limestone cave, formed naturally over centuries. It houses a revered Shiva Lingam and stunning rock formations. Located near Davis Falls, it is spiritually significant for Hindus and a marvel for explorers. The cave’s mysterious tunnels enhance its allure and sacred ambiance.
